The loss of a baby changes a person’s life forever. As the tragic events unfold, grieving families can be too overwhelmed to deal with the details of burial. The nursing staff in perinatal units, doctors, and Angel Layettes understand. Angel Layettes is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) EIN # 26-1616233 corporation that provides personalized burial layettes and keepsakes. Each unique layette is made by hand and acknowledges the baby’s life and provides comfort to the family while preserving their memories. |

Quilters often assist the students as their projects develop. The blocks are judged in categories of K - 4th grades, 5th - 8th grades and 9th - 12th grades. | ConKerr Cancer: A Case for Smiles | |
 | |
The goal of this organization is to make a pillowcase for a child with cancer – that simple – to put a smile on their face while they undergo their chemotherapy and other related treatments. ConKerr Cancer was established by Cindy Kerr, mother of Ryan Kerr. When Ryan was 12 years old he was diagnosed with osteoscarcoma. His treatment involved many stays in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Cindy, a quilt maker, tried to make Ryan as comfortable as possible during his hospitalizations. She started to make him cheerful pillowcases. Other children at the hospital loved Ryan’s pillowcases and Cindy responded by making more pillowcases. Her idea snowballed into ConKerr Cancer: A Case for Smiles. In the beginning years the focus was to make a pillowcase for every child admitted for chemotherapy to Philadelphia’s Children’s Hospital. Eventually we had enough pillowcases to supply 3 pediatric hospitals in the Philadelphia area: Children’s, St. Christopher’s, and AI DuPont. |

The mission of Gilda’s club is to provide meeting places where men, women and children living with cancer, along with their families and friends, can join with others to build a personal network of social and emotional support as an integral part of cancer treatment.

It is the vision of z Club Worldwide to become the international leader for strengthening the global awareness of this philosophy, and to advance an understanding of the essential bond that emotional and social support brings to the cancer experience, not only for those living with cancer, but also for the families and friends who surround

| Quilt Mania | |
 |
The idea for Quilt Mania originally began as an exhibition of contemporary Japanese quilts at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. The idea soon evolved into something much grander, however, through a series of discussions with area museum directors and curators on the importance of collaboration, interpretation and community awareness. As these discussion developed Dr. Marian Ann Montgomery having deep connections with the textile/quilt world and acting as Guest Curator for the Crow exhibition was invited to take on the role of Project Coordinating Curator. Quilt Mania I saw eleven Dallas Cultural institutions mount collaborative exhibitions of quilts. The support from the quilt industry and community was so extensive and the visitors came from such distances that the cultural community decided to mount Quilt Mania II. |

| Snuggle Bunny Quilt Project | |
 | |
Welcome to Snuggle Bunny Quilts. We’re a non-profit organization that provides handmade quilts to children in crisis. Through a network of volunteers, Snuggle Bunny creates and distributes throw size, crib size and twin size quilts to children in need.
Snuggle Bunny Quilts wrap the recipient in warmth and love during a difficult and sometimes scary time in a child’s life due to illness or loss. Our hope is that we can somehow make that time a little less traumatic.
We welcome requests for quilts for children and their families. Please note that Snuggle Bunny Quilts has no paid employees and quilts are only available as long as we have the volunteers and donations needed to keep making them. We will make every effort to fill every request. Please consider making a donation of time or materials so that we can continue this wonderful charity work! |
